Monday, July 17 | 5:00PM

Breeds: Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Holstein, Jersey, Milking Shorthorn

Lots

  1. Junior Heifer - March 1 to May 31, current year 
  2. Intermediate Calf - December 1 to February 28, prior year/current year
  3. Senior Calf - September 1 to November 30, prior year
  4. Summer Calf - June 1 to August 31, prior year
  5. Junior Yearling - March 1 to May 31, prior year
  6. Intermediate Yearling - December 1 to February 29, prior years
  7. Senior Yearling - September 1 to November 30, prior years
  8. Breed Champion - 1st and 2nd place animals per breed
  9. Pee Wee - Pre-4-H aged children
  10. Junior Showmanship - Grades 4-5 as of January 1, current year
  11. Junior High Showmanship - Grades 6-8 as of January 1, current year
  12. Senior High Showmanship - Grades 9-12 as of January 1, current year
  13. Best Three Females - 3 heifers from same farm – 1 entry per farm
  14. Premier Champion - Chosen from breed champions

Classes 1-7                     1st - $20     2nd - $18     3rd - $15     4th - $8     5th - $5

Class 8                              Crystal & Rosette (Champion)

Class 9                              $2 per exhibitor

Classes 10, 11, 12        Alex Allen, Mike Jones, Bud & Robert Pickle Memorial Plaques

Class 13                           1st - $25     2nd - $15     3rd - $10

Class 14                           $100

Rules & Regulations

  1. All Open Show Classes open to the world.
  2. All livestock will be exhibited at owner’s risk. Bedford County Fair will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any animal, equipment or persons attending but every precaution will be  taken to prevent such loss, damage or injury.
  3. All animals must be entered in owner’s name.
  4. All animals must have VALID HEALTH PAPERS. There will be No exceptions.
  5. All animals must have original REGISTRATION PAPERS.
  6. We will begin receiving animals on Sunday prior to the show, with tie space on first-come-first   serve basis.
  7. NO straw will be allowed; bedding will be provided.
  8. $5.00 per head entry fee.
  9. All announcements the day of the show will take preference over any printed information
